This traditional Swedish wedding embroidery is a reproduction of an embroidery from 1847.

The original text is in old Swedish and reads:

” ET BRUDEPAR PPS OCK AID I WERKEBRO IAG ÖNSKAR EDDER LYCKA OCH WÄLGÅN ÅR 1847 ”

English translation:
” A wedded couple PPS and AID in Werkebro I wish you happiness and success year 1847 ”

The pattern includes the heart with and without text, alphabet, and numbers so that you can add your own text.

Stitched with one color, 2 strands of DMC. Full cross-stitch only.
