License

StitchSamplers.com offers patterns with different licenses.

I always try to publish patterns with the most permissive license possible. You will find the license information in the pattern description.

  • All patterns may be used for personal use, printed, and copied for a friend or family member.
  • All patterns may be used to create handmade, commercial products that you sell.

The licenses are:

Creative commons

Public domain, CC0

Free of known restrictions under copyright law. You can copy, modify, and distribute the work, even for commercial purposes, all without asking permission.

Attribution, CC BY 4.0

With this license you may share -even sell- the pattern or create a derivative work of the pattern, as long as you:

  1. Provide attribution.
Usually, this means crediting myself, Carolina Nymark, the website stitchsamplers.com, and the provider of the item the pattern has been reproduced from, for example, a Museum.
  2. Do not legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.
